Facility Rentals

Whether you are planning a private party or a business meeting, the historic Santa Fe Depot is the perfect venue for your event.  The Grand Lobby of the depot can accommodate 184 people and offers a historic setting unlike any other in the region.  Your guests enjoy the classic elegance and timeless feel that only a historic building can offer.

THE GRAND LOBBY AND THE GARDEN GAZEBO ARE AVAILABLE FOR YOUR EVENTS.

Reservations are made by contacting Facilities Manager Michael Hicks at 254-298-5704 or mhicks@templetx.gov, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Table and chair set-up and use of the kitchen is included with your reservation.  A professional staff member will be on-site during your event.

OUR RENTAL POLICIES:

Rental Areas and Maximum Capacities:
Grand Lobby can accommodate 184 in banquet style (23 round tables of 8, tables and chairs included in rental fee)

Gazebo can accommodate 30 inside the Gazebo and 300+ in the area around the Gazebo (table and chairs to be supplied by Lessee)

Fees:

Grand Lobby:

  • Weekday (Monday – Thursday): 6 Hours = $750, Full Day =$990
  • Weekend (Friday – Sunday): 6 Hours = $990, Full Day = $1100
  • Corporate Rate (Monday – Friday, 8 am-PM): 3 Hours = $245, 6 Hours = $380, Full Day = $490

Gazebo:

  • Without Grand Lobby reservation: 6 Hours = $150, Full Day = $375
  • With Grand Lobby reservation: $50

Other Fees:

  • Refundable Deposit: $250
  • Cleaning fee (non-refundable): $100 
  • Custodial Service (for extra clean-up): $50 per hour per cleaner
  • Professional Photo Shoot rental: $50 per hour (appointment necessary, 2-hour minimum)

Special rates and discounts may apply.  If an event extends into the next rental period, the rental rate will be $95 per additional hour.  A 50% discount is available for one move-in day and one move-out day, based on availability.    Tax-exempt organizations must present proof at the time of booking.  Rates are subject to change.  Any questions, please contact Facilities Manager Michael Hicks at 254-298-5704 or mhicks@templetx.gov.
