About the Marvin Fenn Recreation Area
The Marvin Fenn Recreation Area is named after Temple school teacher and fishing enthusiast, William "Marvin" Fenn. This area is located within walking distance of the Sammons Community Center. Fishing in the pond is permitted, but visitors must abide by all guidelines set forth by the City of Temple.
